New Member - HELP! Phal problem! :(

Hi all,
I'm new here! I am seeking advice regarding one of my Phals! There are black markings on the leaves.
Over the last 11 months I have noticed it seem to be spreading towards the edges of each of the leaves! Only the newest leaf is unaffected now.
Can you please advise what I dealing with here? Is it a virus? I don't think it's bacterial or fungal as the spots are not wet and there's no apparent cell collapse. Please help!

Did this start just following the heat of summer? Could it possibly have gotten too hot?

Hello! Thank you for your response.
The markings were there the day the orchid was gifted to me, defintely hasn't been exposed to strong sun, as it leaves on a table in front of a window which is covered with blinds, only gets the early morning sun, no hot midday sun. Any ideas?
