    Default Oncidium lindenii

Here's a strange one for you. A mini mule-ear; leaves are about 6" long. I've read it's rather xerophytic – that is to say, adapted to dry conditions: doesn't need much water, and prone to rot. And that's the way I've been growing it, for whatever that's worth.

I've had this, I think, three years now. During that time, if I remember correctly, it's grown one leaf, lost one leaf, and is blooming for its third time. Blooms are mostly successive (a couple at a time) on a branching inflorescence.

Oh, that is cool! I like the odd shape to the flower.

    Cheers!
