OH--that's really different than my Mendenhall. Cool. My original blossoms are going strong; it's been a month now. How much are you watering yours and what kind of light are you giving it Clint?
When I first bought one of these, I noticed a lot of people grow them in spag in a clay pot. This one is in perlite in a plastic pot. I water it about every three days..I would say it's approaching dryness, but not completely dry. I watch the biggest p-bulb..if it just starts to shrivel I know this guy wants a drink.
I think the only time you have to worry about how much you water these guys is in cool temps or in low light situations...too much water when the new lead is starting can cause damp-off.
This one has been in an East window with no supplemental lighting, but still gets about 4 hours of indirect light a day. Humidity doesn't seem that crucial, as I grow it in my office (humidity anywhere from 30-50%). I think if you push the light for these, they like to be kept more moist.
Then again, I'm not an expert with these, But I have gotten 4 flowers from this spike since May.
Nice one!
Cheers!

Most excellent, Clint! I like the round shape!
Cheers. Hoa.
More light will make smaller flowers.
really? more light makes smaller flowers? I have my first Psychopsis just in spike, I hope for big flowers. BTW, very nice round bloom!
