    Default Pleuro brighamii

    Got this in trade recently. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it happy. The flower was a pain in the butt to photo. It is about 1 cm long. Definitely a case in which my SLR would have done a better job .... but then I'd have to get film developed and find someone with a scanner. Still I guess my little Pentax did what it could. The best shot is the last one.

    That's a cute little guy, Pavel!

    I'm still fighting with my digital camera trying to trick it into focusing properly on closeup macro shots. Even using its manual focus option, it often doesn't work.
