Everyone is very concerned about giving their orchids plenty of light. That, for me, is *never* a problem. I am , however, very curious about how needy orchids are of total darkness at night. Right now, I have all of my orchids in my kitchen until my new block window I have in my typical growing area is 100% finished. The only thing that worris me is the kitchen does't get total darkness. I live on a street with a few street lamps that luminated my kitchen a bit. I move my orchids to a crevice where there is the least amount of light. Do you think for the temporary amount of time , it will prevent my orchids from potentially flowering? Am I being an orchidcondriac?
