Oh...I love the dark colors on that Eria!
What exactly does its name mean? Is it an unnamed species?

Very beautiful. I love the close ups combined with the full plant shot. Very nice.
Beautiful colors!
I've never seen this one before. I love the color and the yellow tint on the tips of the petals and sepals.
nice deep colour and cool lip!
That is different! I like it, Nelson! Thanks.
Cheers,

Stunning!!! the most spectacular Eria I've seen to date... not that i have seen that many of course hehehe...
I wonder if it is a new species or a variant of carnicolor...
because I quote,
"Var. (variety) aff. (affinis which is Latin for affinities.) So the term means that the variety has affinities with but is not exactly the same as the variety mentioned in the first place. Sp. (species) aff. means that the species is closely related to the species first mentioned but there may be enough differences, after further study, to make the plant a species in its own right."
I was not too sure myself, until I asked him.
Thanks Nelson! I've always wondered about that.
