Wow, that IS dark! Thanks for sharing.
Very nice, I like the angle of the photograph too.
and curiously, they do look a little like Darth Vader.... I have definintely been in front of the computer too long.
Beautiful maudiae-multifloral cross! I love it
...my vendor just sold out before I could get one, it was a roth-maud
Thank you for the comments. I've had this one for a while now. I like the darker paphs but will admit to having an "albino" green and white too.
May the Force be with you

I don't think I've seen a multifloral maud before. neat.
That reminds me of this paph I posted some time ago, only yours is a multi...

Yours is very similar but mine does not have warts, yet! Like yours, the dorsals do stay down and I have been tempted to tie the flower higher up the stem so that they are more visible.
The one plant I wanted to buy from the grower (local) had four spikes! It was awhile ago so there were no flowers just small spikes. He would have sold it to me but wanted to see if he could get an award at an orchid show with it. Can't blame him there, would help his buisness selling this variety.

Here's a closer in look, albeit looking upward.

Very nice. I haven't ever seen a dark maudie cross without warts -- very nice!
