    Default Phrag Ashley Wilkes

This is a first bloom seedling for me. I actually have two "siblings" of this plant, same age, size etc -- one bloomed, one didn't. So I guess I wasn't nice enough to the other one. I also tried a little lighting set up (desk lamp rigged to the kitchen table--too funny really) . . .

I like this guy so much, I might actually get brave enough to take him to the next orchid society meeting--although you never know, it is a little intimidating.

Phrag Ashley Wilkes is Phrag Eric Young x warscewiczanum. Thanks for looking.

Wonderful---I love the petals and color on this. I wish some of my phrags would rebloom already. Can you tell me about your growing conditions on this? (medium, light, temps) I have a bessae x warscewiczanum that still hasn't rebloomed in a year and I just want to know if I'm missing something...

    Default Very nice!

I really do like these a lot more than paphs, but I wish they weren't so darned big! I had Les Diroulles and it took up the room of like 5 plants! (Needless to say, I traded it off.)

Yes, do bring it to the meeting if it is still looking good.
