    Default Dyakia hendersonianum

It is a long spike, but only 5 flowers. I hope it will continue to bloom.

    Nice KI!

I had one of these before I traded it off. The flower spike will continue to produce from each of the bumpy nodes along the side of the spike!

    How's the smell?

Oh yeah, I like that one. I love the way the petals shimmer like a butterflies wing in the sunlight. Lucky you...does it smell as wonderful as it looks?

I bought it last Fall and posted about it in this thread.

It came with a spike, here is the bloom from last year.

Connie, the shinning is from the flash light in the camera and no, I have not detected any smell.

That is such a cute flower. The flashed photos remind me of iced or sugar coated flowers. Yum!

By the way, how large is the plant. Looks like a tiny cutey to me.

    Very striking, and cool, Qing!

I love the nectary - looks like it gets pollinated by an elephant! Albeit a very small elephant. If Qing has it, it's tiny!
