Gorgeous! I love cyms but don't have the conditions for them.
That has to be a world record for spike development!
It is in a black plastic pot that is placed in clay for stabilization. I may have to turn a clay pot upside down if the spike continues to grow.
I have never seen a spike develop as quickly as this one. It was an inch long with a cluster of buds at the end. I though the flowers were going to open clustered and the next I knew was it started extending.
It must be eating cats... or babies. I thought I had leaves growing fast....![]()
