Epsom in October Question

I read in a few posts that you water with Epsom salts in October. I clicked on the noted post, and tried with my 2 years of college education to read that paper and got a headache.
Can someone help out a college drop out....lol.....do you just give the epsom salts to Nobile Den's? Or all of the 'chids? How much and how often? Please do the instructions in basic english for my simple brain please.

Epsom salts contain magnesium..which aids in chlorophyll production. That noted, I use 1 tsp/gallon once a month year round on all my orchids. The phals get 1 Tbs/gallon in October along with the "chill". This aids in spike formation.

Epsom salt is no "magic bullet", but helps in general orchid culture.

Ohhhh, okay. Thanx for the heads up. I think I have some around here hiding in a cupboard. I'll break it out and put it to use. We use it around here on our palm trees, once a year you mix some up and put on them, keeps them healthy and happy.
