Steve - is this the beginning of a flower or a new leaf?
The only paph that I have had so far that has reflowered did all it's initial growing whilst I was on holiday so I missed what it did. I have a couple of paphs at the moment that I assumed were sending up a new leaf from the middle of the crown - but am I worng and should I be expecting blooms?
So far every time I think MY paph might be giving me a flower it turns out to be a new leaf. :-(
fingers crossed and I can't wait for an update!
Pic taken yesterday. One person says 3 buds, but I just don't see that yet.
woo hooo... it's coming along nicely! I say about hmm.. lots of flowers![]()
Good growing, congratulations.
Katie
From a couple of days ago.
I am VERY surprised at how short the spike is on this long petaled flower is. Maybe it does not really know how long they WILL be?
Do you have this potted in S/H, or just regular pot w/ s/h medium?
Thanks!
It is growing s/h 100%. I was really cautious when I started it though. For the first few weeks I would not allow more than an 1/8 inch of water to accumulate in the bottom. Now I let it have about 1/2 inch of water now. It is also growing under two florescent tubes. I was actually quite surprised when I found the spike and it gave me hope that some of my other multi-florals will also bloom/rebloom.
