    Default Vanda lamellata classic form

    This is so common in the Philippines, many fine specimens are ignored...
    This plant bloomed for the first time after three years, just outside my bedroom window. Hanging bareroot, it receives next to nothing aside from the regular spray of water. I had ignored it but today I noticed the spike becoming heavy with blooms, just begging for a photo-op.
    Very fragrant, too.
