    Post My Phrag. La Vivace Epicure Phyllis D. Turner

    Hello everyone! Now blossoms my Phragmipedium La Vivace Epicure Phyllis D. Turner. It's very compact, and a flower - 9 sm. I love Phrags, but they greater very much. What Phrags have the compact sizes? And I want red compact ôðÃ**ã, help me with a choice, please!
    That tell about Phrag. Mardi Gras (Cross: (brasiliense x fischeri) - it is very big?

    It's good to hear from you Eeca! Your phrag is lovely. It is quite true that they tend to be large plants; I only have two for that reason.

    The twisting and colour of the petals are lovely!

    You are right about many Phrags growing very big. I find bessae, fischeri, schlimii, and richteri to stay small so maybe hybrids with those species will also stay smaller.
