    Default My new 'Favorite" paph

I received this as a seedling from BD and LJA over two years ago. As many of you know, I never do seedlings - I'm an instant gratification kind of gal. But I have kept it in my collection because of the wonderful friends who gave it to me. I had no idea how long it would take for it to bloom, or what it might look like. Well, now I know - AND I LOVE IT.

Very nice color on that one. For me it feels special when a seedling grows then blooms in my care.

I have a few babies growing...I hope I do half as good as you with that one. Wow is that pretty and i'm not especially fond of the paphs and phrags. But with the colors and contrasts yours is a looker. Lucky You!

oh hide that hideous thing!!!! better still just send it to me!!!

o'course, knowing that quarantine laws won't permit it, I will just have to source one locally!

seriously though, that is a fantastic bloom! all that colour everywhere, you must be tickled pink!

Nice one, Thumb! All the nicer, given who the gifters are!

My henryanum just finished blooming. It's a great species - yours is a really nice cross. Much taller than the henryanum.

That is a beauty! Well worth the time it took to bloom from seedling. Nicely done!

Really nice proportion between the height of the spike and the size of the plant--very pleasing. And the bloom itself is so unusual and pretty. Love it! What kind of culture do you give your complex paphs Diane? You are very successful at them.
