Mini Phal's

I got both of these from the garden center I usually frequent and have written about in previous posts. Once again both of these plants were so water-logged when I took them out of their pots, that they had not much going for them. I paid nothing for them....and that may be what they are worth! So I'm posting pic because I am not expecting them to make it. I know some of you would say to cut the spikes now and pray.... and I probably will do that but I wanted to enjoy the flowers for a day or so.....the leaves of the 2nd plant are mottled and may have Phal stuariana or equestris somewhere way back when.

How beautiful!!!! I too am a phal rescue nut.... take my advice and look at past posts about dipping in fungicide and what else to do....some folks here made all the difference for me. Their precautions have meant several of my half dead rootless phals are today amazingly healthy and soon hopefully they will reward my patience with blooms.
Good luck with them, again, the first is a gorgeous thing.

Wow, I really like the Desert Heat! I have a tiny little dark purple one - I am waiting to see if we agree with each other before getting any others that small. Not dead yet...had it since October...

I think they're all beautiful. Phals are very resilient and they may fool you. Give them positive energy and hope for the best.

Both beauties to be sure but the "Desert Heat" is extra nice. With your TLC I'm sure you'll be successful.
