Is this black rot?

Is this black rot? I'm so worried since both of the Rsc. Boontime x Sc. Hausermann's Firewings are showing these symptoms. What can I do to stop it and prevent other plants to get infected. I've already skipped a watering cycle for these guys but I'm going to need some more advice to save these little guys. Thanks.

Cut the infected areas off ASAP. Use standard cutting precautions. Don't starve the plants for water, they are already under stress. Keep water of foliage.Gin can probably tell you what chemicals to use.

You can use Physan 20 or Captan. Also, after you make your cut, inspect the cross-section of the rhyzome and make sure that there is no brown/black tissue left in the center. Cut a little bit beyond the bad tissue. Then spray or dip it in some Captan or Physan 20. If these are not readily available, you can substitute swimming pool algecide, it has the same active ingredients as Physan 20.

I've cut the black parts off and dipped them in End-All to make sure it's clean. I think I did something wrong though since they're already fuzzy.

It looks to me like the infection has spread through the rhyzome to the remaining pseudobulbs. Also I don't any good roots in the picture. My guess is that plant is too far gone to survive.
