Thanks everyone for the comments and I agree that it's gorgeous.It could be a renanthera but look at the prominent spur at the base of the lip of the flower and particularly the protruding spur in the bud stage - both so characteristic of ascocentrum. I do hope someone will make a definite ID of it.
