I suspect that the Rossioglossum is no longer and is likely to be a Rhynchostele and the Oncidium may be a Zelenkoa.
I will do it way. I have Peggy Mobley which is bictoniense x Brassia verrucosa and I have crossed it with Rossioglossum grande any ideas
The first post should have been Odbrs
There are no current registrations for Rossioglossum x Brassia x Odontoglossum or Rossioglossum x Brassia x Rhycostele. I think you have a new combination with no name yet.
if you have managed to use Rossioglossum grande you have really achieved something as it has not been able so far to be brought into main stream
Yes, there are only a handful of registered Rossioglossum intergeneric hybrids, but one of them is with Odontoglossum (Rhychostele) bictoniense and another is with Miltassia Cartagena (an offspring of Brassia verrucosa), so I think you're in fertile territory with Odbrs. Peggy Mobley (O. bictoniense x B. verrucosa).
I made the cross in April, after I came home from a small show in the Manawatu, where the Odbrs Peggy mobley got best in show, so far the pod is looking very good.
