Question on orchid cross names

Like I said the pod looks great I cannot belive that I find out later it is has no viable seed but I will give it another month or so. The Peggy Mobley got awarded last year so the picture is in Orchidwiz and it is interesting to put up grande beside it and try to imagine which way it will go. The only problem with grande is it's short flower spike.

that pod still has around 5-6 months to go. Start keeping an eye on from about the end of Feb. and make sure that the lab can take it without notice,in case it spits open on you.
Preferably keep it on the plant for 12 months,for best results.
When it is sown hopefully it will germinate quickly but some do take a long time.I have Onc incurvum x forsbesii and it took 2 years to germinate.

I hope to get some flasks of that when it has germinated -may be even a mother flask or two.

Well the pod has been to the Lab so now will have to keep my fingers crossed, I sent seven pods in the last year and only four have germinated so that is the reason for the fingers crossed one never knows what will happen. I did one cross Onc Ronaele X Onc Contex both ways and the pods split after four months so I put it in a coffee filter and sent it off at the end of august both pods have germinated very well. These are the two I crossed the first is Ronaele next is Contex
