Ron, its hard to tell but there is a strong tricolor influence in your flowers. The one thing that stands out to me in your pics is the flowers being so bunched. I'm not an expert in V.tricolor but from those I've flowered and seen, the flowers spread very well on the spike as my 2nd pic shows. Your plant looks different also but again there are so many tricolors I can't tell. Just seems to be a bit too robust.
thanks roy, i also noticed the closely packed flowers on my plant.
Ron, just wondering if yours has a touch of V.tessellata in it ?
Ron, there is a cross registered, V.tessellata x V. tricolor = Caroline J. Robinson No pics on net that I can find though.
What is the flower size on your plant ?
Ron, while searching thru my collection of orchid books, 100's, I found an article with pics of various V.tricolor. Some resemble mine and a number yours. They don't show the plant or spike well but the flowers are very close to yours and I would suggest the name V.tricolor would do just fine.
