WN2D # 7...do not let your newly repotted (or any other) orchid tump over headfirst. Sometimes, orchids can be top heavy & prone to this, esp. if potted in plastic pots. And, as the media dries out, the bottom has even less weight. Many of my orchids in plastic pots are then set inside a clay pot, just for the added weight.

Boy - Been there, done that! And I have a feeling that though I've done it before, I'll do it again!!

AND, the very important corollary...WN2D #9...do not bring a new orchid into your collection without inspecting it carefully for pests or diseases.
