BTW - I don't think the third one is Ludisia: the stems are MUCH different (not thick, like the L., but thin)... the pattern differs too.

I still think it is-remember that there is variation within the species. I have friends in our local OS who each have a discolour-from the same flask-and one is almost covered in the golden thread pattern, the other has only a few flecks

Love the specimen that you have, some books says that it is also can be found in the Phils but I havent seen anything like that here. :-(

They both look like Ludisia to me. And these a terrestrial-put them in some soil. If they were epiphytes, then i would say spag was fine. That may be the first thing that is causing them to wilt.

I agree with Jordan. I grow beautiful Ludisia Specimen Pots in a mixture of Potting Mix mixed with Aliflor and charcoal to give good drainage. They do very well. My pots are at ground level under the Phal. benches.

I have had good luck with the ludisia discolor by filling a plastic net pot almost to the top with lava rock, laying the cuttings on the rock, then topping with fresh moss. I keep the moss damp. They are behind other orchids.

Thanks for the advice on the Ludica peeps. A bigger worry is the Anoectochilus roxburghii though. Any more tips?

roxburghii did well for me once I put it in a terrarium type container and under fluorescent lights. I had mine growing in a mix of sphagnum and sponge rock. They are much different growing then the ludica which is very easy. They require much more humidity. And no...I didn't need to vent anything. They were growing under lights in a spare bedroom that stayed cool. It did have a somewhat dormant period, losing many of it leaves. They stayed slightly damp but not wet. And don't get water on the leaves. They tend to rot if water pools on them.
There are many dart frog people that keep this plant. I think you can do an internet search to find all your answers

I would say roots, but my friend grows his in his conservatory, and when he forgets to water it, it shoots up spikes lol!
