This zygo looks a bit to me like the clonal 'Artur Elle', but it was tagged without a clonal name, so I'm going with that, unless someone knows something I don't.
It has a very light, pretty fragrance, but not nearly like the B.G. White I have.

So stunning! How would you describe the smell of this and the other zygo? I have heard of them smelling "like pepper", I can not figure out what that means unless you sneeze when you sniff it!
i have one similar like this Maura, but still in bud.the flower is going like this Zygopetalum Jumpin Jack 'Big Beans' hybrid orchid 10-11 1st bloom | Flickr - Photo Sharing! .i believed it different from yours from the lip.
Maura, This is one beautiful Zygo. the colours and textures are outstanding. As usual your photography is excellent. Congrats !
BTW. I sent you a PM on Fri. night, not sure you rec'd it. do let me know.
Maura, that is a spectacular color!
I like the blooms. The color of the lip is great. But I'm confused.Does the tag say Zyg. mackayi? The flowers I've seen for Zyg. mackayi had a more spotted appearance, and a bigger lip with less solid, more variegated coloring.
