Another one that is high up in the shadehouse and I can't get to it easily. I lost most the buds to thrips I think. Whatever it was most blasted.

I know the feeling of not being able to get to the blooms up in the top of the shade house. This vanda bloom has an interesting shape. Is that due to the damage or does it bloom this way always? Great, bold color.
cheers,

Bruce, It always has a slight ruffle to the edge. As the bloom gets a little older it will flatten out a smidge.
Nice indigo color. Reminds me strongly of Asco Princess Mikassa
Cathy at least can see the beauties there, excellent.
I agree with the others - the color is just beautiful, and I'm so sorry about those nasty pests - I know how it feels to lose the gorgeous display to a bunch of bugs!
That's pretty, Cathy. I love the spots.
Beautiful color! Those thrips have been terrible this year.
Beautiful Cathy. This was one of the first Vandas I purchased over five years ago. I am still a bit sentimental about Manuvadee and yes they get BIG. AL
