Lynda's right! Pace yourself. You'll go crazy and then think, okay I have to stop now. I'm out of room, and I spend all my time watering. But it's not that easy. There is no stopping. So you just keep getting more until you explode. It's not pretty.

I admit I did go to the RHS plant centre again and stared longingly at some phals, and found some nice other stuff like Zygo's, Cym's, Miltassias and Cambrias(didn't you say that they don't exist?) ,

See I do listen! They were all labelled Cambria, various shades of yellow through to red, and to me they look just like the Odontocidiums I have seen. I'll take a picture if I go back to see what other people think they are. If I was a stroppier person I would have gone up to the info desk and asked them what a Cambria actually is. But I'm not, and Tom would have died of embarrassment!

Am trying to pace myself! Really, they are just all so nice....

The Cambrias that Kerry kept seeing is actually Vuylstekeara Cambria. The artificial genus Vuylstekeara (Vuyl.) is Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossum. The Cambria grex is a very old hybrid, but very popular, especially in England. There are so many clones out there, Cambria 'Noyo', 'Plush', 'Lensing's Favorite', etc ... They are very pretty and seem to be able to thrive in various conditions, especially under coolish and low light conditions. And that is why they are so popular in England.
