Phalaenopsis blooms hanging on

Most of my Phal's have finished flowering and are sending out new leaves and roots. I have just finished the big repot session. This is the first time I have done this and I hope I didn't pack the pots too tight as I tried to keep the plants steady. This is the first repot for all of them, so lots of spag got tossed. This noid still has 3 flowers on a second spike. I used the remnant of the first spike to stake the plant steady. For me, it has great color and shape. I'd like to learn how to show it off. Too sad that is a noid.

Hey Joe - nice job on the repotting. So your phals were still blooming this late into the summer? That's pretty amazing - did you buy them in bloom? I just ask bc mine usually bloom in January and are done by feb/march, and then right after they went into their "growing period" and have been this way every since spring. Make sure you give your phals lots of light and fertilizer for these last few weeks of summer, probably right up into November- you want to make sure they stored up enough energy to bloom for you again next year This particular one looks really, really healthy btw - I think I see 9 or ten leaves, and ALL of them look great, so nice job!!

Thanks, Becky. You are correct, BIB at the BBS this spring. This one has eleven leaves, bought/rescued at the orange one. I have managed to keep all the original purchase leaves and have added 4 more. So far so good. (None dead) Thanks for the advice. The proof will be if they rebloom. If they do, I will probably join the IOS!!!
