After reading Tanya's post on Paph micranthum I was feeling sorry for myself for not being able to grow micranthum because of the hot weather here. That started me thinking about the paphs that I could grow and have grown.I thought that instead of whining and moaning I should be happy and thankful that I can grow my orchids outdoors 24/7 and the few paphs that I have that have bloomed for me. That really perked me up and I began to take stock of the paphs I already have.
Here's a list of the few I have niveum, concolor, glaucophyllum, exul, charlesworthii, rothchildianum, sanderianum, stonei, philippinense, barbatum, kolopaking and a seedling( 3" pot ) liemianum x spiceranium. I doubt if the latter will ever bloom seeing that both parents prefer cooler conditions than I can provide. Anyway I am now on the lookout for warm-tolerant paph hybrids.
Here are 4 paphs that have bloomed for me. I am still waiting for the stonei which is in sheath.

Pix #2 - niveum ( a variety I collected myself )
