Here is the beautiful Brassia I got from Louis. All but two blooms on the first spike have opened, so I thought it was time to snap a photo. And lucky me, there is a second spike very early in its development, so I get to watch the whole thing over again.
I apologize to Louis...I just noticed in the photo the largest pseudobulb is a bit shriveledI guess I've been underwatering it a bit
because it was as plump as a baby's tush when I received it. Now it looks a little more like granny's tush.
I'll have to remedy this promptly! I think this is an unconscious attempt to make it appear like I didn't water my Brassia Rex to death earlier this year

At any rate, it is a great plant. Thanks again Louis.
Oh, and Gin, do you notice anything else attractive in the photo? I just love them, and for now I prefer them as accents on the buffett rather than mounts!
