    Question Encyclia Hybrid noid

I'd love to know the name of this plant. Apparently it has never bloomed. I have no record of what it is...which means i've had it longer than i've been keeping records or posting pictures on Orchid Talk. I vaguely remember mounting it on wood. It was infested with bugs and I threw it under a tree when we moved here irritated that it wouldn't thrive. This past summer I noticed the bugs had disappeared and put it back on a shelf. It got set in a spot I would ignore in the greenhouse when it was finished. I guess it has finally found a spot it likes after all these years!

Very nice, Connie. I've come to realize that no matter how much care and fussing I heap on my plants, once they find an area where they do well, its a good idea not to move them very much. I know its never a good trying to ID an orchid from just a pic, but the bloom looks a lot like Epc Serena's Tinkerbelle 'Paradise' I've seen. Good growing.

Based on the foliage shape and the unifoliate growth, I would suspect the involvement of Brassavola. It's I nice flower I don't think I've seen before.

Good job Connie. Beautiful Orchid, regret you don't have the ID because I would be looking for one.
    cheers.
