I think this is a Miltoniopsis Zorro - can anyone advise why these blooms seem to not have grown properly? For some reason the stalks are very short!

I think this is a Miltoniopsis Zorro - can anyone advise why these blooms seem to not have grown properly? For some reason the stalks are very short!
Have not grown any Milts in a number of years but i did have times when then spike got caught up & instead of growing straight it grew very zig zaggy & ended up very short.Check to see if the spike is distorted cannot tell from piccie , also to much light can cause short spikes , have had this in 1 or 2 Paphs
When my buds are first coming out I try to arrange them, without breaking the bud off...which will happen sooner or later if you mess with the buds. lol You just have to be very gentle. Very very gentle... ( I feel like I need one of those tv disclaimers that say "do not try this at home". hehehe, because sooner or later we all break off those delicate buds and then want to yell in frustration)![]()
