Dendrobium Enobi

Some how I will probably mess up the name. I can't truly take credit for this one as it was in bud when I bought it. The plant is not very big about 7 inches high, but the flower is pretty different from other Dens I have seen.

I have this one. It's very cheerful. I believe the full name is Dendrobium Enobi Purple 'Splash' but you might see it spelled differently. While it's hard to identify a hybrid from a photo, it's really not that difficult to double check the spelling of the registered name, but vendors don't always do that. Sorry to complain and please understand that I don't mean to criticize you at all here.

I do apologize for the misnomer problem. This is not the first time I have been corrected on this. I just use the name on the tag. I will do my best to not make the mistake again. I will research before posting. I am truly sorry about this problem.

Please do not apologize. I was not referring to you at all, but the fact that some vendors rush to put a name on a plant not caring if the spelling is right. So one plant may go by a few differently spelled names. I regret complaining about it so much as there are much worse things to deal with in this hobby. I hope you like enjoy this den. and it grows and flowers well for you. It's always a delight to see it in bloom. Thank you for sharing it.
