This is the second time that this has bloomed for me since I got it in 2016. Last year I got only one solitary flower, this year we have four, so that's progress to me.

Wow Monique! That's a cool looking flower!
You will continue to get more blooms each year, eventually it will bloom for most of the year. Well done Monique!

Wow!!. Nice one.

Monks,
that is way cool!
Question- I have never heard of that one and it appears to be a terete type?
I couldn't find it in Orchid Wiz.
The lip so beautiful...congrats.

Keysguy,
I'm not an expert like some on this forum, I just buy orchids that appeal to me and will do well here in my South Florida yard. So having said that, yes it does appear to be a terete, which I bought from a Jamaican grower who comes to most of the orchid shows here in Miami. Here is some additional information that I found when I did a Google search. https://florafaunaweb.nparks.gov.sg/...l.aspx?id=2539

Thanks Monique. I know who you are referring to so I will check with him at Redlands. I have several of his Encyclia's as well as a Myc. Memoria Helen Fuchs which is about to bloom. That is one that will require me to post a pic of when it's ready for prime time.

A very good specimen.
