RCL dygbiana very very sick with F.......

I am very sad today , my dygbiana was not doing very well (shriveled PB, no root growth, and wilting over all in spite of the care and watering.

I saw Ana Maria video in YouTube regarding Fussarium and I checked my plant and Unfortunately it had it.

I do not think it will survive since with no roots there is no way to absorb fungicides.

I cut it until I found green tissue and only have 2 PB (with no roots) to try an hopeless recovery.

Any advises on how to proceed?

Look for a product containing thiophanate methyl, and immerse the plant in a solution overnight.

I find it is very slow growing , and needs the brightest position to stand any chance - the coilour of the plant indicates that too - that silvery grey colour - always associated with xerophytic plants..
Best thing is to buy another, if you see a good one. And even then, whilst I have seen pics of it in forums like this, I believe I have only ever once or twice seen the real live flower ( and that on dealer displays, marked "sample plant- not for sale".

I'm with Geoff. I would start over with a healthy plant if I wanted to grow this one. Fusarium spreads easily. Whether or not you keep it, sterilize your surfaces and tools in the growing area. You may be able to nurse it back to health, but it can take a long time (several seasons sometimes) when you have no roots left. Since it's a slow grower, for a newer grower, it won't be very easy or rewarding in my opinion. I would personally rather give the space to something that brings me joy.

I am considering not to get one in the near future. I will try my skills with less fussy plants , though I love the dygbiana flowers.
This morning I also noticed that my Catt Leopoldii has a couple of leaves turning yellow from the base of the leave on an new growth. I never share water and I can not understand what is going on.
I am keeping it separate from all others but my track record with Catts sucks (100% fail!)
I almost want to cry!

I guess you are right , I am risking all the other plants by keeping that one .
I am so sad, my leopoldii is also showing signs that are keeping me a bit worried.
I never share water, I use gloves and I disinfect all surfaces , I can not understand what is going on!
I will try my luck with a no ID Catt in the future and build up my expertise with it , so far I failed miserably !

That may be a bit of an exaggeration but keep your chin up. It all gets easier with time and experience, and we've all lost plants in the learning process. Heck, very experienced growers even lose plants from time to time. Sometimes, there are things that just won't do well in your conditions. Post well lit photos here when you have issues and more experienced growers may be able to tell you better what may be going on. Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words.

You have to find out what likes your conditions. Go to a good orchid show with lots of dealers- and see what is going. If you like something, and it is in a genera you gave not got, ask a few questions and maybe try one. But two warnings here : remember you are buying a plant not an expensive bunch of flowers. Make sure it Is a good plant. Tell the dealer that you are a beginner and have killed plants, and ask him to check this is a good one. If he is a good businessman , he will make a special effort, to gain a future repeat customer.
And the second warning here, if you have not been to a big orchid show before, you my get blown away ! Leave your credit cards at home, take the euros you re happy to spend, and no more !

And then, see if you can grow it. If all goes well, maybe you will more of the same......
